Pixels are tiny dots of color on a screen or in an image. In computational thinking, pixels are important because they help us understand how computers display and process pictures and videos. Pixels are like the building blocks of visual information. Understanding how they work and how computers handle them is essential for everything from creating digital art to watching videos on your screen.

PIXEL DUCKS BREAKOUT ROOM PUZZLE
SOLUTION: DUCK #2
PREPARE AHEAD OF TIME:
Print out the five pixel duck images in color.
Display the pixel duck images in your room. Hide the physical lockbox key behind Duck #2.
Print out one pixel duck coloring sheet per student (or group).
(OPTIONAL) - You may print out a color key and make it available/posted if your individual coloring sheets are in black + white.
Have colored pencils/crayons/markers available to complete this puzzle.
TO COMPLETE THE PUZZLE:
Students will color in the sheet to find out which pixel duck design is revealed (Duck #2).
Once the correct duck is identified, students may go look behind the picture to uncover the physical lockbox key, and unlock the final box to free Quackers!
